Take the Donut

Take the Donut is a short ride that combines a steep uphill that is not ride-able for most, followed by a fast dowhill on the other side of the hill. Although the uphill may be too much for many, the fun downhill and views of the Tantalus range mountains and Howe Sound are well worth the initial hike-a-bike. It finishes with a selection of 3 routes down an easy rock roll. Overall, this trail makes for a good short addition to a ride in the area. It can be easily accessed following the uphill gravel road from the bottom of Jacks Trail, near the entrance from the gravel pit. Keep your eyes peeled for the first trail on your right, as it is unmarked and not easily spotted.
