Rollercoaster

Rollercoaster is a cruisy trail, twisting and turning its way down to Perth Drive. This trail is great for those looking for an easy descent or those new to downhill mountain biking, and is certainly one of the best choices of the Squamish trails for these purposes.

The trailhead can be accessed from the gravel road off of the Perth Drive dead-end, or from Mashiter. The latter option cuts roughly a minute off the upper section, and is the route followed in the Test of Metal race.

At the bottom of the trail, you will spit out onto Perth Drive after the steepest and fastest section. From here, you can follow the gravel road all the way up the hill to Mashiter, or turn left early in the ascent to descend to the bottom of Jacks and lead you directly to Alice Lake. You can also simply cross the road from the bottom of Rollercoaster to Lumberjacks, a good alternative to access Jacks.
