Pseudo Tsuga

In March of 2015, SORCA hired the trail builders of Gravity Logic to update Pseudo Tsuga. The result is a faster ride with many more bermed turns and over a km of added length. The trail crosses 2 gravel roads and is therefore broken into 3 sections – Pseudo Tsuga 1, 2, and 3. Combined, the trail descends roughly 300m of elevation. It is a suitable introductory trail for those looking to ride some intermediate-level trails. More advanced riders will also love this trail for its high-speed sections along the straightaways and attacking the top of the polished berms around the bends.

Pseudo Tsuga is a popular trail, especially for weekend warriors, due to the excellence of the trail itself as well as ease of access. To access Pseudo Tsuga, park at the lot on Garibaldi Park Road by the bottom of Half Nelson and follow the FSR all the way up to the trailhead. You will find the top of Pseudo Tsuga 1 beside the SORCA shelter, directly before the FSR takes a right U-turn continuing up towards Half Nelson and Angry Midget.
