Ring Creek Rip

Ring Creek Rip is a connector trail that can be ridden in either direction. Its highest point is in the Lava Flow area, accessed from beyond the top of 9-Mile Hill. The video above follows the upper trail down to the turn-off for Powerhouse Plunge. This is part of the Test of Metal course. The lower portion is MUCH more frequently used to avoid the grueling 9+ miles of uphill from Valleycliffe. The lower portion typically involves only a few minutes-climb to the Powerhouse trail map station, including a very short hike-a-bike for most riders. This lower portion connects Garibaldi Park Road, Fool’s Gold, and Another Man’s Gold with either STP, Powerhouse Plunge, Powerhoods, Bonzai, or Somewhere Over There.
