Full Nelson

Opened in 2012, Full Nelson was constructed by Ted Tempany and volunteers, with financial aid from Red Bull and Anthill Films. Our local hero, Brandon Semenuk, provided guidance on the design. This trail is all about high speed and is packed with big bermed turns and rollable jumps, similar to Whistler’s A-Line. The jumps are slightly bigger than those of Half Nelson.

The trail starts most of the way up along Legacy Climb Trail, and spits out onto the lower portion of Half Nelson. If you’re looking for a descent-only ride, you can access Full Nelson after shuttling up to Cake Walk and a hike-a-bike up the logging road to the junction with Climb Trail. The trailhead is just around the corner from there. The ride finishes at the Half Nelson parking lot on Garibaldi Park Road.
